Cascading tuberous perennial for moist soil in a shady position. Not particularly hardy but I have got away with leaving this unprotected for six years so far

Sue - in the wild, this grows on ledges beside streams, cascading over the rocks. Some vendors suggest using it in hanging baskets and overwintering the tubers in frost free conditions

Oh, ideally suited to a hanging aspect, sound like a good idea to put it in a sheltered position on a rocky outcrop, better to see those flowers.
