ideal if you have a corner lot which is used as a short cut. ... no I guess that's too cruel.. I remember family histories from the world wars... one of them was about falling off a motorcycle into a hollyhedge... this looks like it would be worse than that! I'm a fan of A. mollis though.

Sbg - it's an Ethiopian native so not sure how hardy it would be for you. I'm growing it in the sunniest spot in the garden in soil improved with grit. If you'd like a piece of root to try though, I'm happy to send some when it goes dormant
