Eileen: I've never been able to make leaf cuttings. They always turn to mush. What technique do you follow for successful leaf cutting?

I take a complete leaf including the stalk. Push the stalk into moist compost until the edge of the leaf blade is in contact with the soil. new plantlets form at this junction between the stalk and the leaf blade. takes up to 2 months to form new plantlets.

Can you post a picture please so I can see how it's done. I've been sticking the leaves in the same pot as the mother plant. They always go moldy or turn to mush.
