Oh yes I must make some more fertiliser.
This one really creeps doesn’t it. Any idea why it gets the black leaf spots?

Mine doesn't have the black spots. I suspect it is a fungal thing like tar spot on sycamores. I thought they were holes in the leaf. To be honest the woodland area will be full of many different species of fungi all naturally occurring and I wouldn't be worried.
