While the best forms of this species peony have pale yellow flowers, seed-raised ones may have various amount of pink

Well I didn't know that. Are the flowers as large as the yellow?

Yes, they are the same size. I have a yellow one as well, but this pink one is always the first to flower

Very nice. I wonder if my P. daurica will have similar flowers.
