Often mistaken for a euphorbia, this is a biennial for a shady position, tolerating quite dry conditions. Grows to two and a half feet. WARNING - it's very free with its seeding when happy

Lol, it has the look of something that's longing to seed around! A. alusatrum grows on the cliffs round here. I believe people used to eat it but I haven't tried it yet!
