Conference Pear Tree Now Supported

For a few years now I have noticed that our Conference pear tree was moving in the high winds. So much so it was leaning at an angle of 30 degrees to the vertical. I noted on holiday (in Turkey) palm trees chained together to support each other. So with a couple of ratchet straps, I straigtened the Conference pear tree to almost vertical using the Greengage tree on it's left hand side. The two trees are now chained together with protection round each tree trunk. The tree has hundreds of fruit buds on it, so hopefully a good crop this year.

Thanks Siris, ornaments were an Xmas present for my wife a few years ago. They come in each autumn and back out at Easter. They are still as new.

Thank you for your interesting photo. My Pears are kept apart with a length of wood with a V notch at each end placed near the top of the trunks, with Conference ledged withnanother near its base. I like your Dragonfly and Frog fence ornaments.
