Thanks Julia ... No wonder the name escaped me! I think it's a gorgeous shrub and as I have some GC vouchers waiting to be used ... this could be the plant to use them on.

Possibly to fill the space when the Ceanothus is removed. That would be in an East facing border, sun up until mid afternoon in the Summer.
