This little guy got snowed on yesterday and temperatures dipped below freezing all night - unheard of for May

We knew the cold was coming, but wasn't expecting snow. I didn't see a flake all winter, but NOW we get snow in May? That's a first. It's not a hard freeze though so my tomatoes are OK.

Lovely little fellow, always nice to see them in the garden. I did see on the internet earlier that New York had a flurry of snow, which I thought was odd for mid May.

wow so it's not just NY. Also very strange to see that Floridian bird here in NY building a nest. That Gold Crested Night Heron is way out of its range. Climate Change?

I read your, post and the reply from the other member about this bird and it’s normal habitat and behaviour, very unusual. However, it must’ve been a fantastic sight! Could be the change with climate.
