I know, weird, can only think it’s reverting to its original , like variegated leaved shrubs do.....

Yes they do I have a Camelia doing the same but tge foliage is nt varigated. They say to cut it off for it to remain like you bought it varigated .

Yes that’s right.....in this case I’ll leave the flower, see if next year it does it again :)
