I think this came out of some spent compost I threw onto the border. I think it might be a damp-lover, so I shall have to find it a new home. I think I must have discarded compost too early as it was the 2nd. one I have found growing in the border.

It looks like a Candelabra Primula, and yes it likes damp soil.
