It was this morning, Karen. :-) I think they're beautiful, Anget... didn't expect one to show up inside my house, though. Every autumn we have a mouse invasion, my guess is that the snakes followed them into the basement and have been living on them all winter...

Oh Lori is it poisonous ? I think I would run out and never return ,how do you catch them there might be more Yikes !!

Hi Amy, it is definitely not poisonous... they have only tiny vestigial teeth and are nature's rodent control specialists. I'm a little concerned that there are two of them...hoping they are just passing through. I think we have a little mouse colony in the greenhouse and perhaps the snakes will set up shop there!
