doesn't always work out the way you hope it will!
One part of our front has a very narrow border between house and public pathway. My brainwwave was to plant lavender because it faces south. Unfortunately, the lavender wasn't named so I took a chance. You can tell it's very happy where it is. Too happy....
(Excuse scruffy fencing. Rubbed down ready to paint once it stops raining!)

Kate, the buzzies are all over it. We keep seeing a hummingbird hawkmoth on it.

It does look like it's trying to escape, doesn't it 3d.? We have decided to take it out once it's finished this year and redo the border. At the moment it's a pfaff because it's no more than 3 ft wide and you can only get at it from the side, so you run the risk of accidentally treading all over the plants. A small space but a real nuisance in terms of what to do with it! And it's hot and dry!

Yes it does Anget I had a hedge and it just flopped over like this. How about Lily of the Valley to plant there.

How would a little formal hedge look? Euonymus? Saying that you may want something with flowers on?

Still, I do love lavender, Anget. This one is quite a big one. Looks like it’s trying to escape! Bet it smells divine.
