Tree Aloe in bloom. (Aloidendron tongaensis.)

One of two species in the front yard. This blooms while the other still has not. One day it will..but that one blooms in early summer.

My motto is "No room for boring plants". After that,Anything goes or at least take a chance with.
I think I have the tallest "Firesticks" in the bay area and also..maybe..the only Aphelandra squarrosa growing in the ground. I have to post that.
Many of theses things I was told won't grow here and why Klahanie I don't listen anymore..lol.

Klahanie has nailed it. You have a fantastic mix of plants! Not a boring bloom, leaf or spike in sight!
