Daphne bholua 'Cobhay Snow' - 2020

Daphne bholua flowers in late winter and early spring, carrying fragrant flowers. These are usually pink but there was a white form in the trade a few years ago. However this was not very hardy and the bad winter of 2010/11 seems to have killed stock plants across the country.
Junker's Nursery in Somerset have dome some breeding, and this form should be tougher. Planted in March, it has grown away well in a partly shaded position in soil that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged
