Water Forget-Me-Not

Don't know this plant - does it have blue flowers? And what is a firepit please?

This is THE forget-me-not..as far as I'm concerned ...My Mom grew these and they grew wild beside the lake too. I have another picture added earlier this season of a closeup of the blossom...my very fav blue..
I am making a circular depression in the soil in my backgarden, surrounded by brick and stone where I can make a small fire for cool evenings... there will be seating round about and it's the plan to roast some hotdogs and marshmallows!! lol.
