Hi Anget, I lost a totally tangerine sounds the same as what you had one side had died back I didn't save it, lasted about 3 years. I do think Aztec Pearl is slow growing this is 8 years old and looks fully grown now, my mom's got a baby she says doesn't seem to be growing, I said to her to give it some seaweed feed to see if that will get it going.
I have just lost Geum Scarlet Tempest all the flowers suddenly wilted wasn't as big as TT, had a closer look and the stem broke away from the root and there was an earwig underneath so not sure if it was that that killed it, the stem was hanging on by a thread so to speak, shame it was lovely will have to get another one it was only 2 years old

earwigs like to chew petals but don't usually chew through stems etc. so I wonder if there has been something else nibbling your Geum. If the root is intact and there is a bit of the base of the stem left pot it up and it may regrow.
love the combo of Geum and Choisya.

Thanks Sbg i do like orange and white together, the roots of geum are still in the ground there is a couple of tiny leaves on it, it was like the head snapped off a bit like when vine weevil chew but where it was attached looked fresh but you could see where the rest of it had callused over so it was hanging on, I will dig it up and see what the roots are like

I’m in agreement with everyone, Jane, it’s a really lovely combination of planting.

That's a pretty combination. I thought my 'T.T.' was on its way out last year as one half was dessicated. I cleaned it off and it has bounced back this year. Perhaps you could help me encourage my 'Aztec Pearl' to get a move on. It's sat and looked at me for two years now and not an inch of growth!!
