Thankyou Seaburngirl .My Dad passed away in March 2020 and covid restrictions made the aftermath more complicated so last year was the first time in years that I was not able to keep a garden journal. I do enjoy photographing my garden regardless and am getting back on track this season. Have had the worst year ever for slugs on iris attack. I was told by one local gardener alfalfa
pellets deter them so giving that a try.

Sorry to hear about your dad. It has been very difficult for many hasn't it.
Slugs have enjoyed many of my plants too.
