That sounds just right Julia! Even though my Lavender 'Hidcote' is huge this year, full of Bees non-stop, I can only get the fragrance if I pick a piece to sniff it! Mid you, it's such an old shrub it may be giving up on the scent . . . :o)

I wonder if the amount of rain this Spring has made a difference to their scent-producing capability?

The only scented things in my garden making any kind of impression this year are the pinks: 'Memories' in particular.

It’s a pretty one, Julia. I’ve never bought any lavender except the purple coloured ones. Mine are quite fragrant this year.
