I have never seen this climber in its glory...each year the local felines make a bee line for it .They dig at the roots so the first Spring flush never happens.
Last year I barricaded it well and happy to see it's flourishing....the pink leaf edges are yet to appear.

Cats destroyed my original planting. I rooted a destroyed branch and moved it, but it is not as advanced as yours cause in a shadier spot where more easily protected by netting.

Oh I remember you posting this before, Julia! I recall you saying about the cats digging at its roots. Pleased your method was successful! It's very attractive!
