Nice to meet you too Maple. Yes it is my garden. I started it twelve years ago after running a camping park ( tents only ) for thirty years. It made a good retirement project, keeps me busy every day.

It's amazing Reg!! I only have a postage stamp to look after so I can only imagine the work on a plot like you have. Have to say it's been worth it! One of the best I've seen

Hallo Reg - welcome! What a lovely garden - all that water! I am just going to type in your website address and have a closer look at you - well, your garden, I meant! :-)

Later...my goodness, Reg! How on earth do you manage to keep it all looking so beautiful? You must surely have help? How much land have you actually got? Sorry about all the questions, hope you don't mind.

Hi spritzhenry, thank you for your generous comments about the garden. Don't be sorry about asking questions, I love talking about it. Tell me to shut up if I talk about it too much. I have help at each weekend, some weekends one day and others two days by a great fellow called John. He has been with me since I started the garden twelve years ago. John is great help when there is hard work to be done. I chose, buy and decide where the plants should go in the garden and he plants them. We work well together, he does all the work in the garden up to height of my knees and I do above, that's fair don't you think. When it came to building the pond, there were twelve of us.The garden covers about one and a half acres. Come on, ask questions. ... Reg

I think you have a built-in advantage by living where you do, however, I am very impressed at how little help you have to maintain your kingdom in the condition it's in, as well as being open every day! Wow! Brave man! I do have another question - when did you take the photo of the daffodils and are those Hellebores I can see amongst them?

I don't mind the questions spritzhenry, it's the answers I have problems with.
I took the picture of the daffodils last spring. It may be Hellebores you can see.
