That’s an old solar water feature with sedums and a conifer in it. A bit of recycling. X

Goodness, you're going to have a lot of pots to water in different ends of the country. This is an interesting collection. We've just been potting up new acers to put on our newly rebuilt patio. I hope I can put all my plant pots back together to look half as good as this.
Welcome back, by the way.

Thank you. Its a problem. The pots in Dorset are on an automatic system. I also have an excellent gardening neighbour down there who will keep an eye on them. As for up here, we’ll, I am reducing them. The bigger ones tend to hold their moisture a lot better. The smaller ones will have to go.

Thanks Paul. This patio is the inspiration for my new garden. I love getting underneath and among my plants. I much prefer it to having them all in borders. The new garden will have no lawn.

Lots of different green colouring/shades, very lush. Like the different textures and forms. Karen, is the pot at the front a lilac-grey colour? Very pretty.
