I like the very cheerful colour mix.

After the rain all today, everything looks a bit droopy. Ive taken off the spent Iris flowers so hopefuly if its nice tomorrow, more will open.
I made Blackcurrant jam instead, fruit from the allotment in the freezer.

Fingers crossed. Bet it tastes lovely, I use to love having jam sandwiches when I was a child. I managed to do a little planting this morning before the rain then knocked all the plaster off in the dining room ready for when we get the kitchen diner done.

Ooh, blackcurrant jam Siris - lovely! Makes a good tea if you have a cough too. Cariad I still eat bread and jam quite often...

:) I have it on toast but not had it in a sandwich for a very long time, I definitely will next time I get some now though.
I’ll have to remember that about the blackcurrant tea, I’m always buying herbal and fruit teas, I have peppermint tea daily to help with digestion. If there is a natural alternative with no side effects, why not :)

I have a large teaspoon of blackcurrant jam with some plain yoghurt, yummy.
