I’d love to see a hummingbird in the wild. Haha they are a bit of a pain when you are trying to dig around in the flowerbed. I think they look like fireworks exploding :)

Haha yeah I guess they are. There is 2 of them and I’ve spaced them about 2 feet apart I have some alliums and agapanthus in there too. I made the mistake of moving a couple of plants while they were in flower and now they are looking a little sorry for theirselves so the flowerbed isn’t looking great at the moment.
Somebody wrote online that they pair it with Rosa Rubrifolia, blue hostas, wine coloured cotinus smokebush called grace, blue foliage sedums, dark leaved Heuchera and perennial geraniums including G. Macrorrhizum with vivid pink flowers.
I thought maybe a salvia with similar colouring.
