Bet it smells beautiful. I only have the one rose, I do adore the flowers but the black spot is what bugs me, I love it when I see them in country cottage gardens rambling over pergolas etc. I’m unsure what type I have though.

It was a lovely scent, Cal. I love them too, but, I’m not very good at growing them. I’ve one potted up and I’ve a sprawling climbing pink one too. I do agree, it’s lovely to see them arching over cottage doors or pergolas!

That’s a shame, all I know is where you need to cut them and they like horse poop from when my mum use to get me to do hers wish I could offer more advice lol.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen it but there was a Tv program called My uncle Silas played by Albert Finney it’s quite funny it is but he had a beautiful cottage garden on there, it was such an idyllic setting.
