Geranium 'Rozanne'

beautiful Spritz, this is the same as mine, are you sure you have them round the right way? but yours does look bluer. it is so pretty is'nt it.

Angie, this is DEFINITELY 'Rozanne'! Not only did it come with that label, I looked it up in my Hardy Geranium book to make sure. What the other one is, I have no idea as yet, but I don't mind at all, it's very pretty and I like it, so it can remain anonymous if it's not 'Buxton's Variety'. Thanks Sarah, it's one of my favourite Geraniums!

OOOhhhh er! thats strange, as i have seen this listed as Buxtons variety in loads of places and another one which looks very simular to the other one you have - but maybe a bit bluer listed as 'Rozanne' - i would really like to get to the bottom of it Spritz, as i am having a bit of a 'discussion' with the bloke who sold me this plant at the moment. i do love it, but i paid extra because he has listed it a 'china blue' in colour. and his explanation is that origananlly it was named 'Buxtons blue' and the name got changed to 'Buxtons variety' because it is not a true blue. my arguement with him is that he knew this when listing and still advertised it as 'china blue'. - which is what i paid extra for because as we all know true blue flowers are hard to come by. he also sent me another variety that i ordered at the same time 'Kashmir purple' which was dead! so i asked for my money back (meaning the Kashmir) but also pointed out the the other one 'buxtons' was not as discribed and not worth the high price that i paid for a 'blue' flower. anyway to cut a long story short if there are two varieties the same but different colours 'buxtons and rozanne this might help me with my quest of a true blue flower! and my arguement with this 'Wally'! lol - i am going to go now that i have bored you with my moan for the day. - but what i will do is try to find the pic i saw of both and send them to ya Spritz.
