Wonderfully lush!!! Is this a sedum?

No. This is my filtering pond. Water is pumped up from my main fish pond into the filtering pond which is at a higher level. Fish waste and other water impurities are processed by this the water plant in the pond which goes by the name of Parrots Feather. I placed just three sprigs of this plant in the water and as you can see it has multiplied ferociously. The water in this pond then flows over a spillway and back to the fish pond via a step down stream.

Ah, right! I know this one now, Loosestrife. It's definitely spread well as you say, very lush and looks good here. Your system with your ponds sounds amazing, you've certainly put all the hard graft in and you've gained a wonderful setup with your water features and peripheral planting too. Very restful I'll bet..lovely to see!
