Gigantic brambles!!

Removed today...Rich had to enter the middle of the trees in order to find the roots....it was near impossible to dig them out completely. The circumference of the biggest one was 3inches.

Julia, our bund was full years ago of rampant brambles! OH dug them all out by hand!!! Our dense planting up there seems to keep them at bay or at least away.
However, next door has a lot! We just keep cutting them if they encroach...
