Fritillaria raddeana

Fritillaria raddeana

I had these in a pot last year and missed them flowering as I was in Dorset waiting for a Baby! But when I got back to Scotland in May they were dying back so I planted them in the border, more in hope than expectation. But they are back and although they aren’t spectacular, they are nevertheless very pretty.

Agreed. I often prefer more 'reticent' plants myself.
