Shirley, I've had one for 4 years. It reaches 5 ft most years. I do prune hard. It is the most lovely colour.

This one stays more compact because 1. Scotland and 2. It’s planted right up against the drive so it’s very dry.

Ange, thank you for that info., as my neighbour has a mauve Buddleia growing so very tall, I feel a dwarf variety would be best for my garden!
