It has just started to bloom. I have 3, and they have all grown beautifully big and bushy, with lovely dark green leaves. I’m thrilled with the colour (obvs..it’s purple!). The flowers are big too.

They are very, very strong and healthy plants aren’t they. I had a look and they are very similar. Czar a bit pinker I think.

I picked up two big young plants at Waitrose today Shirley. Czar and Laura. Such healthy strong Penstemons. And who doesn’t love a Penstemon. They flower for ever!

Well done! I am pleasantly surprised at being able to access GoY today ... had to go via www. Growsonyou though as it would not appear on my favourite bar.

Karen, I like the Pensham series, I have Czar, very similar to yours and Amelia Jane. Very easy to propagate from cuttings too!
