Yuong Rufous Hummingbird

Our Rufous hummingbirds are gone . This must have been born late and I hope that it will survive our winter.
They come to our place by March 20th and leave south as early as July traveling down the chain of the Rocky Mountains each year Apparently there is a decrease of them since about 1970.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, Klahanie. We have the same problem with late-born hedgehogs here.
