Thank you Shirley...has become a little strong for the fence...amazingly it started as a tiny sprig in the gravel.

Julia, that doesn't surprise me at all as Mum used to find baby ones popping through the gravel ... in fact mine possibly came via one of those!

The cotoneaster looks very attractive along the fence, Julia. Laden with berries too.
The Nandina is a glorious colour.
