Caladium Hilo Beauty.
It has huge leaves....16-17 inches.

I bought this as Calathea "Hilo beauty" That is what the tag on the pot says. Everybody on the internet calls it Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty'
Then I read:
This species has been misidentified by the horticultural trade as Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty'. The correct name should be Caladium praetermissum.
Pretty confusing.

Yes, I thought so. This plant has been reclassified quite a few times over the years, but it's presently known as Caladium praetermissum 'Hilo Beauty'.
It's a stunner! It's commonly called the 'Stunning Mottled Elephant Ear' over here (even though it's not classified as a Colocasia or an Alocasia any more). The leaves can get quite huge.

That's a lovely, lush leaf on this one, Klahanie. Lovely variegation.

Thank you Kate, we were surprised how tall and how big leaves it developed as I bought it originally in 4 inch pot.....but we both love it.
