Prunus x yedoensis 'Akebono' (Yoshino Cherry)
Very popular in this part of the world (Pacific Northwest)
I just bought it last year.

I like it's orange autumn color Shirley_tulip and even more the pretty flowers in the spring.
It is said that the cherry trees in Yoshino have been worshiped and cultivated as sacred trees for more than 1000 years.
It has a lovely mild vanilla like fragrance.
