Dahlia 'Honka Surprise'

Now this is special... Do the petals stay like that or do they open out eventually?

The petals stay like they are on the photo.......... its a strange Dahlia, but lovely!!

i grew this dahlia this year.
it has an excellent shape about 3 foot by 3, doesn't need staking and has kept it's shape through all the rain and wind.
the flowers stay like that until the petals fall off, they don't go brown or fade.
it has 3 brothers/sisters all 'Honka's'. a white, red and yellow one.

Lovely indeed. I will watch out for one!

Unusual very pretty I like

As Dahlias are my favourites, i have been undecided about this one, but now seeing it in all its glory, i have decided to buy it...Gone on to the wish list.......Its lovely Mr. C...:>)
