it works, is that ivy you have growing up the fence?

I've positioned the ivy so it grown down the way and i have Morning Glory - love the purple flowers - growing up the way. Hopefully next year it will look really stunning!!

Think you may have to keep a close eye on the ivy and train it regularly.
Ivy will hang down if it has nothing supporting it
but as soon as it touches something it can climb it heads upwards.

Thanks for your advice Xela. The fencing is covered in netting and me neighbour is looking forward to it decorating hers too!
