No, he's wide awake, Jacque. I think he's just found somewhere to lie and there he has stayed all day! He is obviously in pain when he tries to get up or hobble!

He'll be four in October, Marguerite. He scraped his paws on the pebbles on the beach while playing with my grandson on Saturday. No vet, as he just needs to rest!

Yes, thanks, Xela. He is a much happier dog today and has come out of his hidey-hole. He has been following me round the garden (slowly) today. His tail has wagged, too!
