i was advised that these won't grow outdoors in orkney ,but decided to try growing them, believing that they are tough plants. this one is doing ok. fingers crossed for the winter

think they will be ok, frost isn't a real problem here just wind, fleece wouldn't last long here in winter unless i used a big anchor to hold it

hard to say Lori it varies from year to year but it seldom gets below freezing, should think it gets below freezin about 7-10 days a year if that

Love the Gulf Stream current!! Communities in Canada that are at the same level of latitude are very cold in the winters.
