Most peppers like full sun, frost tender so keep it in, and can't stand in water, though they wouldn't like to dry out. Keep moist and give it plenty of light. I looked around and found they shock easy as well, so if it has a trouble period soon, it was prob from the trip to your place. Side note, next years flowering, you might want to cotton swab all the flowers with the same cotton swap to make sure they get pollinated. Good Luck, it's really lovely.
