Side view of the double tiered grapevine

The houses on the top right, inside the town walls, were built in the 1550's. That's my balcony (top/centre of photo) with the grape vine (next to the round tower). The vine starts off on the bottom under the lamp where the cars are parked and goes up into the wall, under the pavement and through a hole in the wall outside my kitchen and then climbs up into my balcony - it's amazing. The grapes on the lower level are still the usual wihite for wine but when we bought our house, we grafted the strawberry flavoured grapes that I've sent photos of.
