You live near a zoo ! That's great ! I used to love going to Bristol zoo on the train when I was a kid. ( it's the nearest to us here.) and going through the Severn tunnell. See how photos can bring back memories.

dublin zoo is 3 miles from where i live, its in the Phoenix Park. recently they have done a lot of work on it , which is great. more space for the animals there.

That's good. I don't like them all couped up in small pens.
I remember going to Chester zoo yrs ago and there were no cages for some of the animals. just a big ditch between you and them. It was like you were seeing them in the wild.
One big goriller was picking up clods of grass and throwing them at you. lol. I don't think he liked being stared at but the more he was doing it the more people were looking at him. Good job the ditch was there or he'd have chased after us all I think.
Do you visit the zoo often ?

no too often hywel, its too expensive.

thats a beautiful animal , there was a programme about wolves on TV not long ago it was very good ,worth watching !
