As I promised, a picture of a C. revoluta that was planted out a) in wet clay and b) 3 years too early. Not a pretty sight.

This was not me Dee honest. It is one I gave to a neighbour some years ago and like a lot of keen gardeners they couldn't wait and shoved it into the ground in sunny N. Yorks. far too early. And clay at that. It is now back with me. (I dug it up and potted it into a sensible mix of compost, sand and perlite). I will post a picture of it in the pot tomorrow. I don't dare even put it in the cold greenhouse. Boss lady has promised - sorry threatened - to divorce me if I take it to bed with me. So far it is in the living room and when I am sure it has kicked back in, another neighbour has said I can put it in their conservatory for complete recovery. Us poor people don't have our own conservatories. But the owner is going to have to buy a couple of bottles of wine if we can recover it. Keep your own seedlings warm and light and don't rush them. By the time you get to my age you might have TWO leaves. -LoL.
