hahaha... no danger of me picking up a spider, GreenT...I'm strictly hands-off those critters! love to watch them though.

I just read Grenville's blog about wearing rings while gardening...! very good lesson there! I rarely wear gloves when gardening so as a result I have lost two rings to the soil...one I was lucky enough to find...the other will come to light before I leave here next year, I hope!

If the ring is valuable you may be able to buy a cheap metal detector, may find some gold nuggets also ;-).

oh thay are not as big as i thought they were but still are quite substancal ( i thought they were the size of a toonie)
