It was such a treat for me to see such beautiful creatures from around the world, that I didn't think about them having a natural life. They seem to be well taken care of, but no I wouldn't call it a natural life. There was plant life in the aquarium. I didn't see mosquitoes, though. I know what you mean, I've felt the same way the last time I visited a zoo.
