Hi Marguerite. Thanks for your interest.
My nick comes from the fact that I am maniacal about sarracenias. Love them.
The botanical name of these is under 'What else' to the right - E. coccifera. There are 350 species of eucalyptus. This one comes from the Australian Alps which I think are in New South Wales. It's still a baby. I got it at 2 feet tall in spring and it is now 7 feet, grows like the clappers. I have good friends in Sydney and they bring me loads of stuff. You are allowed to bring plants into the UK but when I offered them some seeds or plants to take back, I found that Australian customs are extremely tight and you can't take anything that way.
That is a small porcelain model of a Chinese man by it about a foot tall. And a tall fence behind it.
My real name is John by the way.
