Yes it is. Friends of ours were selling up to go live on a narrow boat and they had 2 huge pieces of slate in their garden propped up against a wall. We cadged it and made one into this table for us and gave the other piece to our daughter. Not much chance of it being stolen.. it weighs a tonne!

I Love it, what seating do you want to go with it?

I think that's the problem... I'm not really sure.. possibly needs to be quite rustic and maybe old and shabby to fit in.

Now, I think the opposite, Something in Metal, with red cushions, Dark stain on the woodwork, Fab, hehe...
