what a nice cat..is it yours?

Hi Newfienurse,no this cat lives in our village and when my hubby and myself was walking round the part of the village where it lives it was sitting in the long grass,so I quickly selected B&W and took a few of them to see what they would turn out like...

turned out pretty good..makes for a nice halloween pic! I love black cats (and dogs!)

I used to have a black cat just like the one above.Her name was Fluffy and she used to nibble my chin ever so gently as a sign of affection.Sadly when she was 18 some idiot came flying down the road where I used to live,must have been doing 70mph and ran her over.Died instantly and all he could say after stopping was sorry I'll get you another one.
How can you replace a cat that has chosen you as it's owner and has lived with you for so many years.Talk about being thoughtless....Mind you our other cat lived until she was 21 1/2 years before we had to let her go and despite saying no more rescued another two kittens that are now 5 years old.
