My Bowles Mauve absolutely trive here on the coast. They become monsters. I totally prune then end of July, they love it. Do you "shave" yours back??

Oops spelling mistake, argggg!!!!thrive it should be, yup, Spritzhenry I cut them down quite a bit, but not into the woody part. They would love U 4 it.
