Poor swan

Hi Jacqueand Janette,it was a shock to see the hook and i didn't even see it when I took the photo as I was trying not to disturbe it.The problem is that there are so many swans over there it would be impossible to find it again.I just hope that it isn't suffreing too much, but I have noticed there isn't any line attached which there usually is with these type of hooks.

How sad its to realize we humans are able to inflict such suffering to the animals :(

it is horrible isnt it that us so called civilised folk can harm animals in awful ways?
dont know if any of ye read today about the animals that were killed in a Russian zoo by some children,

24 Oct, 2008

oh boy :( i didnt know about that

24 Oct, 2008

I read the newspaper report... cant believe they were beaten to death... and worst, by children... thats horrible!

24 Oct, 2008

Aleyna, i think thats what makes it even worse, the fact that it was done by children

When did this happen?I don't buy newspapers because I was getting too upset reading all these sorts of stories.I hope they punished those monsters accordingly .....

Do you goys think that it was put their intentionally? I know a lot of times when people are fishing they loose their line and hook, by getting it caught on something, etc. Unfortunately other animals get caught up in those lines or hooked. I thought that maybe that's how this happened, which is sad but not evil.

some times it happens when the line is lost Tracy , other times when folk dont clean up when they are leaving the river banks or lakes

dont blame you Tina not buying a newspaper

Tasteyq,I am not sure how the hook got in there and it doesn't look infected so eprhaps the swan isn't in too much pain.We need Rolf Harris to rescue it,he would get it sorted lol.

Irish,I used to buy the newspapers everyday, but in the end I couldn't bare to read about Children,Pensioners, and Animals being murdered abused or neglected and found i couldn't sleep at night so in the end gave them up and put the money to better use, like buying a bar of chocky, though nowadays the money would only by half a bar lol...

24 Oct, 2008

well Tina a bar of choc is def worth the money lol

I'm with you on the news, Tina2. I just hate it, it's so depressing. No thanks! Every once in a while I find my self watching it on accident and then I come to my senses and turn it.

24 Oct, 2008

Especially the reintroduced Wispa bars though I nearly choked at the price, nine shillings in old money ..eeek

Tasteyq,it is all doom and gloom,I get sick of hearing about the Recession and the credit crunch and the housing market, and not forgetting the price of fuel going up and down and down and up,no wonder I am going grey lol

24 Oct, 2008

Tina you are not the only one who is going gray>>>>>>>>>>>>>
